About the OwnerLiane Caruso, CEO & President

Liane earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Florida State University and has since acquired over 15 years diverse experience in marketing, public relations, public involvement, crisis communications, media relations, event planning and business development.    Her successes include: development of marketing campaigns; promotions ranging from television, radio, web and print; project and major events coordination; successful grant writing; public relations campaigns; and establishing a positive identity within the community for her clients.

In 2009, Liane decided it was time to leave the corporate world and build her own corporate identity and successful communications firm. In the beginning, she provided freelance marketing help and began to attract new and small business owners who needed a variety of marketing services but had limited budgets and no idea where to start. She pulled together a small team of creative professionals…and so Limelight was born.

Liane has recently been honored as a Tampa Bay Business Journal 2010 Up and Comer. Also, from among thousands of contestants, Limelight Marketing Consultants has been ranked 48 in StartupNation.com’s 2010 Leading Moms in Business competition.  She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), National Funding Association, Tampa Bay Chapter and the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce.
